Sarah Schinasi is an internationally acclaimed Italian director known for her innovative work in opera, theatre, and dramatic performance. She has directed productions across Europe and beyond, collaborating with major institutions including opera houses, national theatres, and international festivals. Her recent projects include acclaimed productions such as Il Piccolo Marat, Norma, Pagliacci, and I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata, with several productions broadcast internationally.

Beginning her career at the Nice Opera House, Sarah worked alongside renowned directors and developed a distinctive approach combining dramaturgy, movement, and visual storytelling. She has collaborated with leading artistic institutions worldwide and has also taught acting and musical performance at prestigious programs, including the Juilliard School and the Israeli Opera Studio.

A graduate in Piano from the Instituto Superiore Musicale P. Mascagni, Sarah holds a Master’s degree in History with a thesis in Dramaturgy from the University of Pisa and trained in acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She speaks five languages and was awarded the Oscar of Arts in Livorno, Italy, in 2017.
